As the Senior Vice President of Customer Experience (CX) Product Management and Marketing, Vikas Butaney leads the product vision and strategy for Cisco's Services portfolio. Under his leadership, the organization is driving transformative innovation at the intersection of technology, business, and customer experience, building and evolving Cisco's Support and Professional Services to empower customers in today's AI era. Recognized for his commitment to customer-centric innovation, Vikas spearheads the transition to modernized support models for organizations across industries. By integrating AI-enabled predictive, proactive, and personalized capabilities, he empowers customers to boost security and operational efficiency and maximize the value of their technology investments. Prior to this role, Vikas served as SVP and General Manager of Cisco Secure Routing and Industrial IoT, where he led product strategy for Cisco Routing, SD-WAN, Industrial Networking, and Multicloud Networking. A proven leader in fostering innovation and pioneering new business models, his career spans senior leadership roles in Cisco network engineering as well as experience at cloud and mobility start-ups, including Accelera and Mobile Iron. He earned his M.S. in Electrical Engineering, focusing on Optical and Data Communications, from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA.
