What’s old is new: Why Cisco wants its products back
Cisco is re-thinking the way we provide products and services to our customers. We want to reuse more of our equipment, so that we recycle less. We can also re-manufacture and refurbish the products we make, so and give them new life with more customers.

Supporting our customers through their technology transitions
Cisco has developed a portfolio of solutions provided by Cisco Refresh and Cisco Capital to address these needs for our customers, without having to consider third-party providers.
Introducing “Cisco Refresh”
In 2001, Cisco Capital introduced Cisco Certified Refurbished Equipment (CCRE) a program designed to sell Cisco’s high-quality refurbished products. To address the growing secondary market, and provide a price-competitive and trusted alternative in those cases when buying new equipment is not an option, Cisco Capital is evolving its CCRE program to become Cisco Refresh.
