Global Partner and Routes to Market Sales

Debbie Clasen joined Cisco in 2005 and leads the Partner Experience & Amplification team. Her team drives global cross functional efforts to accelerate partner growth and profitability as well as simplifying the navigation of processes and tools. She also serves as a Cisco Culture Ambassador. Other Cisco roles have included Director, Transformation Amplification, driving connections across Cisco’s partner ecosystem while inspiring and enabling partners and field teams to accelerate transformation as well as leading the Ecosystem Expansion Practices team, navigating the value exchange between Cisco and our ecosystem partners while guiding our regional partner teams to scale joint business. Prior to that she led the Mobility Partners team covering strategic partnerships with Apple, Blackberry, Google, Nokia, Samsung, and Qualcomm and Service Provider alliances with Motorola and Siemens. Debbie’s experience spans over 20 years in business development, alliances, product management, and marketing. During this time, she has applied her expertise to the Enterprise, Service Provider, Consumer, and Government segments. Prior to joining Cisco, she was responsible for Global Alliances at Flarion Technologies. At CommWorks/3Com, Clasen was Strategic Alliances Director, leading the team covering Siemens, Alcatel, Hitachi, and Eastcom. She considers Dell, 3Com/USR, and Motorola as important parts of her tenure in technology.   She is an Association of Strategic Alliances Professionals chapter board member and holds the CSAP designation. Debbie earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BSEE from the University of Pennsylvania. At the University of Pennsylvania, she was honored as the graduating senior who best exemplified the ideals of Benjamin Franklin--leadership, scholarship, athleticism, and social service. Debbie parlayed the skills she honed with the fencing team at Penn into a post-collegiate spot on the Women’s National Champion Epee team.
