I have the pleasure of leading a team that promotes diversity and inclusion through the African American Cisco Partner Community (AACPC) to accelerate the growth and success of diverse Cisco Partners while increasing the hiring of diverse candidates.

I’m incredibly proud of these leaders for being the first recognized for their accomplishments and contributions to creating, hiring, and retaining a more diverse workforce and talent pool.

Black History Month is a time to celebrate the contributions and accomplishments of the Black community throughout history. Today we want to feature two AACPC partners who are driving significant community impact through their innovative programs.

We know that when we diversify our thoughts, ideas, and innovations the result will be better. When we apply this concept to the workplace regarding who we hire and where we hire from, we will experience greater success.

As a leader in Cisco, my focus is on building and growing the business through our global ecosystem of partners. We evaluate how we impact environmental and critical social factors that drive business outcomes. We then drive change and bridge inequity gaps by using our technology, extended ecosystem, and our expertise to create more opportunities for more people.
