Al Slamecka is a banking practice advisor on the Americas Business Transformation team and a member of Cisco's Global Financial Services industry team, focused on connecting technology value propositions with industry business drivers. Mr. Slamecka works in a consultative capacity to help banking institutions drive profitability and efficiency across lines of business leveraging an institution’s investments in network and communications technologies.

A 13-year veteran of Cisco, Mr. Slamecka joined in 2000 to establish Cisco's first global financial services marketing team and was responsible for solution definition and global marketing for Retail Banking thru 2007. Subsequently, he led strategic account planning and sales enablement for Enterprise, Service Provider, and Public Sector segments in Cisco’s Emerging Markets theatre for 5 years.

Mr. Slamecka holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from Georgia Tech and resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
