Barb Rigel telecommutes from the mile high city of Denver as a Marketing Manager supporting Cisco Customer Experience for Enterprise Networks. She has held sales and marketing positions in the telecom and high tech industry for the past 25+ years. Prior to her current role, she was the global IoT marketing lead for Cisco's Connected Transportation solutions.

Barb has worked for AT&T, Avaya and Gold Systems. Her most recent role prior to joining Cisco in 2012 was with Genesys/Alcatel-Lucent as a Senior Marketing Manager leading their SaaS and Hosted Contact Center strategy. ]

Barb is a native of Michigan and visits family and friends in her small hometown near Ann Arbor a few times a year. She holds a BSBA from Central Michigan University and an MBA from Wayne State University. An avid sports fan, she cheers on her favorite teams: Michigan Wolverines, Detroit Tigers, Lions, Red Wings as well as the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies. And, of course her alma mater the CMU Chippewas. Barb also enjoys golfing, biking, hiking, cooking, reading and photography.
