Global Partner Organization (GPO)

Brian Shoda is the Senior Director of the Global Data Center & Cloud practice for Global Channels.

In this role, he is responsible for driving Business and Technical architecture strategy for the Data Center & Cloud portfolio. This consists of GTM constructs, strategic eco system partnerships, channel profitability programs, and many more. He also leads new incubation initiatives across the portfolio around channel mentoring, multi-domain constructs, new buying and consumption motions around software, and more.

He works closely with partners across all geographies, market segments, and verticals to drive a high impact sales and engagement go-to-market around the Data Center & Cloud portfolio.

Brian has over 22 years of experience in Direct Sales, Business Development, Product Management, and Channel Sales driving a wide range of products and solutions to all major markets - North America, Western Europe, and throughout Asia. His experience spans a wide range of segment, vertical, and technology dimensions including Private, Public, Commercial, Small, across a variety of architectures spanning from On-prem to Cloud.

Prior to Cisco, Brian held management roles in 3Com and GTE (now Verizon) in both Business Development and National Account capacities.

He is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
