Jeff Reed

Vice President, Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions Group

Jeff Reed is Vice President for Cisco’s Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions Group. In this role, he is responsible for evolving the business strategy and driving innovative solutions for customers, across the data center and campus and branch routing, switching and wireless architectures. Reed also oversees the vision, engineering and go-to-market activities for SDN applications and infrastructure.

Formerly Reed led the product management and software development teams. Prior to this role, Reed served as VP and GM for Cisco’s Unified Access Group, Cisco’s largest switching business unit. Reed joined Cisco from Symantec Corporation, where he held senior positions in product development and alliances and business development. Reed led product management for the Storage Foundation business unit, ran Strategic Alliances and Business Development for Symantec’s Enterprise Product Group and was general manager for Symantec’s Clustered Storage product line.

Reed holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering (with distinction) and an M.B.A, both from Stanford University.

When Reed is not focused on SDN disruption, he enjoys traveling with his family and watching the Golden State Warriors eclipse the 50-win mark. You can find Reed on Linked In and Google+.
