Secure Agile Exchange Revealed
We launched Secure Agile Exchange (SAE) last week in Berlin, Germany, as part of Cisco Live Europe. It was part of our DNA Virtualization announcement – it was so subtle you might have even missed it:-) We’ve been working on Secure Agile Exchange (SAE) for the last 3 years. We have a few customers going into production now with at least another 2 dozen in the pipeline. It is not a single product or SKU, but a comprehensive solution. What’s unique about SAE is that it was created and derived from the “front-line” versus the “corner office”. Consequently, the solution was born out of real world challenges and problems we hear about from our customers. Economists often say that innovation comes from small firms and most of the time they are right – not this time.
CSP 2100 and Avi Networks – The power of Data Center NFV with agile, next-generation application services
Until recently, the promise of Network Function Virtualization (NFV) was largely confined to service providers who were looking to improve efficiencies by leveraging Virtualized Network Functions (VNF) running on x86 machines. Not anymore. With the Cisco Cloud Services Platform (CSP) 2100, mainstream enterprises now have an opportunity to take advantage of NFV quickly and easily. […]
Abstract Away NFV Complexity – Collaboration with Intel and Radware to simplify NFV deployments for Service Providers …
We got together with Intel and Radware over 6 months ago with the idea of not only simplifying NFV deployments, but also pushing the envelope on NFV performance and cloud computing. The end result was spinning-up a 225 Gbps Radware Alteon ADC within minutes using a GUI, CLI, or REST API. Cisco’s Data Center NFV […]
Making NFV Insanely Simple for Hybrid Cloud
Looking to move away from purpose-built physical network appliances and take advantage of the benefits of NFV? NFV is about much more than cost savings, it is about moving at the pace of software. But how do you get started? If you look at ETSI, you need a ton of hardware and software just to […]
