Ronnie Ray is Vice President of Product Management, Architecture Aligned Services in Cisco’s Customer Experience organization. He joined Cisco in May 2013. In his role today, Ronnie leads product and services strategy, roadmap and business execution for all Customer Experience offers across Cisco architectures. In his prior role, Ronnie led the evolution of Cisco’s software controller product management and strategy in Enterprise Networking. With over 20 years of experience in driving software products and services within networks, datacenter, cloud and applications across enterprises and service providers, Ronnie’s experience spans from building new startup ventures from scratch, as well as running marketing, product, business development and strategy functions at a corporate level. He is well versed in conceptualizing, building, and driving growth and adoption of high-impact products and services into global organizations - across the spectrum of enterprise, small to mid-size business and the service provider markets. Ronnie has a passion for making complex things simple with a thorough understanding of business, technology, market, and customer requirements and using that to drive every facet of technology innovation. Ronnie started his career, co-founding startup ventures in the software services and internet start-up realms with successful exits followed by executive leadership positions in private and public companies. He also founded and served as CEO of MarketPlane, a product strategy consultancy firm, where he led advisory services to accelerate growth companies to the next level through new product and market entry, accelerated demand generation, and engaged social media and community interactions. Ronnie holds a Bachelor of Technology – BTech from the Indian Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management. He continues to follow a lifelong quest of being curious and open to learning new things – which helps him stay ahead of the rapidly moving technology and management curve.
