Chatbots. Automation. Artificial intelligence. Machine learning. Predictive analytics.

We all know the terms. But are we making the most of these innovations to create exceptional experiences for our customers?

Last week, I attended Partner Xperience at Cisco Live! 2019 in San Diego, where I was excited to dive deep into the biggest trends and hottest tools in the industry. This was the perfect place to exchange marketing ideas with Cisco partners – and to get their feedback on how well Cisco is helping them transform for the future.

In a highlight of the week, I had the honor of interviewing Matt Malanga, VP of Marketing for LiveAction, a Cisco Preferred Solutions Partner. LiveAction helps companies simplify their network management experience with its intuitive software platforms.

Matt and I talked about what it’s like to navigate the brave new digital world and market more effectively, with toolbox in hand, ready for action!

It was a lively conversation. Thankfully, you can watch it in seven minutes. I encourage you to check this out as Matt’s perspective applies to all marketers.

My personal takeaways ranged from how Cisco Partner Marketing Central tool helps Matt and his team build out content and joint marketing campaigns to how artificial intelligence and machine learning are hugely important to us today. In that context, Matt also pointed out how integrating online with offline marketing is vital to engaging customers.  We also explored how Cisco and LiveAction are each transforming to capture tomorrow’s opportunities.

I look forward to keeping the ideas flowing—especially through our new Marketing Velocity platform. With 80 percent new content, we aspire to become the industry’s leading, always-on university.  It is redesigned to help Cisco partners grow their marketing expertise and gain digital fluency in our quickly evolving world.

At recent Marketing Velocity events in New Orleans and Melbourne, Australia, I talked about the three biggest trends that marketers need to know to become future-proof: Digital is becoming a human extension, intelligence is the new currency, and the customer will be predictable—in real time.

Next on the agenda: I’ll be heading to our Marketing Velocity event in Europe next week. So, stay tuned for a recap of all our Marketing Velocity events this year, coming soon. These events are places where we share our latest marketing insights, wisdom and tools.

I hope to hear more from all of you. Let’s keep the conversation going! Please chime in below with your feedback and return to my blog for the latest marketing updates.
