And the first round winners of the 2021 CX Customer Hero Awards are:

 

IBM

IBM Cloud teamed with Cisco CX on a digital transformation initiative to enable a scalable, digital approach to managing IBM Cloud’s global footprint of Cisco network assets. Previously manually-managed tasks can now be automated, providing visibility into these devices and integration to IBM’s lifecycle, risk, and inventory management platform. This near-real-time access to insights can help network operations teams focus on driving optimized renewal cycles, improving operational efficiency, and delivering better customer experience.

 

The State of Arizona

The State of Arizona collaborated with Cisco CX and Lumen, a managed services provider, to enable a new Data Center infrastructure design and a statewide digital transformation, including a cloud-first strategy and a next generation network architecture. In addition, the current call center was optimized during the COVID-19 Pandemic with improved availability which provided consumers of more than 100 statewide call centers with the information they needed.  The success of these projects maximized services being delivered both internally and externally to the citizens of Arizona.

 

Westpac Banking Corporation

Westpac, one of Australia’s largest banks, partnered with Cisco CX on an ambitious digital transformation plan to modernize its core network and branch infrastructure of more than 900 locations. Now, Westpac has greater visibility into network performance, enabling it to better manage disruptions and risk and has improved agility in response to business requirements. Application performance has dramatically improved and they are delivering 10 times the bandwidth at 50 percent of the previous cost.
