Aruna is currently the Vice-President and CMO of Marketing for Cisco Systems’ Collaboration Business Unit (Webex). Cisco a publicly‐held, fortune 100 technology company. Aruna oversees all marketing for a five billion dollar plus organization. She is now spearheading major strategic shifts for transforming marketing from a functional focus to an enabler of innovation for the business, bringing in all core aspects of digital marketing to help drive up the demand and enable a solid partnership with sales to enable pipeline acceleration and close of business.

Previously, as Vice-President and CMO at CA Technologies (acquired by Broadcom for $19B), Enterprise Software Business Unit, Aruna led all aspects of Marketing for the $1.5B DevOps Business Unit of Broadcom; leading innovation in digital marketing for SaaS and On-premise products. During this time, she drove the acquisition of market share from Broadcom’s largest competitors, repositioning Broadcom as a recognized and credible player in the DevOps Market.

Prior to Broadcom, Aruna has held strategic roles as Vice President for Software Defined Networking (SDN) Marketing and Strategy at Juniper Networks, where-in she played a pivotal role in putting Juniper on the map as a leading vendor in the emerging SDM market landscape. Prior to that she rose through the ranks of Hewlett-Packard Enterprise transitioning from engineering to product marketing and strategy during her 17-year career at HP.

Aruna is also highly in demand as a keynote speaker, she is an Independent Blogger for Forbes, has authored two thought leadership books on DevOps, multi-award honoree, including: Top 100 Most Influential Women in Silicon Valley 2016 by the San Jose Business Journal, received the National Diversity Council’s 2016 Most Powerful and Influential Woman Award, and Silver Stevie Award for Female Executive of the Year 2018.
