Nick Earle, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Services Sales at Cisco, specialises in developing innovative services-led strategies to help customers solve their toughest business challenges and enabling partners to improve their profitability with Cisco technologies and solutions. He is responsible for the growth of global services sales, developing next-generation client relationships to deliver improved customer satisfaction, as well as strengthening the Cisco Services channel.

Prior to his current role, Earle established and co-led the Global Enterprise Theatre at Cisco, delivering new business models, solutions and strategic partnerships. He was also responsible for the European Services Sales business in 20 countries.

With nearly 30 years of IT industry experience, Earle has held a number of senior management positions. Prior to joining Cisco, he served as CEO at StreamServe Inc., a privately held software company that was acquired by Opentext. He also held the role of President of EMEA Operations at Ariba, a leading e-procurement company.

Previously, Earle spent 18 years at Hewlett Packard, where he held several high profile roles, both in Europe and the United States, eventually rising to Chief Marketing Officer for HP’s $35 billion enterprise computing business. In addition, he served as President of HP’s Internet business, one of only two pan-HP business units.

Earle is a recognized authority on emerging business models and the role that collaboration and e-business play in delivering value and profit to organisations. He has co-authored two business books; Mesh Collaboration: Creating New Business Value in the Network of Everything, released in 2008, and From Dot.com to Dot.profit, published in 2000.

Earle holds a first class honours degree in Computing and an Honorary Doctorate in Computing from Liverpool University in the United Kingdom.
