Security can feel like a real drain. Especially now with the increasing number of remote workers leaving customers more vulnerable than ever.
Cisco is committed to working together with you to help customers through these circumstances. Learn more about our security offers for Umbrella, Duo, AnyConnect with ASAv, and recently added—Advanced Malware Protection (AMP) for Endpoints.
Security for Today and Tomorrow
The shift towards quickly supporting remote workers is adding even more stress to security teams that are already stretched thin. The talent shortage in in the industry is currently at 4 million, which 25% say is a root cause of security incidents.
There’s also the battle with growing complexity. According to our 2020 CISO Benchmark report, 81% of CISOs believe it’s challenging to orchestrate alerts from multiple security vendors’ products.
Security Simplified with Cisco SecureX
At the RSA Conference 2020, we introduced our new simplified platform experience that takes away the headaches and keeps pace with business needs.
SecureX connects Cisco’s integrated security portfolio to your customers’ existing infrastructure for a consistent experience that unifies visibility, enables automation, and strengthens their security across network, endpoints, cloud, and applications.
As a Cisco Security partner, there is a huge opportunity for you to help our customers reimagine their security approach. Take it from CDW, a Cisco Gold partner, who stated in a recent CRN Article that the “massive” shortage in security professionals is driving organizations to simplify their approach.
“From the perspective of cybersecurity professionals, user experience was sub-optimal. There were all these different tools under the Cisco umbrella of products that were operating independently.” “SecureX is really their effort to simplify and give customers a unified look at threats, policies enforcement and analytics.” – Bob Rossi, VP of Networking, Digital Workspace and Security Solutions for CDW.
The Partner Opportunity
SecureX gives partners like you the opportunity to build new services to deliver more value to our customers. With SecureX, you can offer services to help customers prepare for, manage, and recover from network attacks and data breaches.
In our recent blog post, Simon Chasser, Chief Revenue Officer – Security at NTT stated that “Cisco SecureX along with NTT Security services provides the skills management and scale to reduce risk and provide capability to our clients that is secure by design.”
I encourage you to check out our SecureX partner community page to use additional partner resources and listen to our partner enablement session recordings to learn more about growing your security practice with Cisco SecureX.
Thank you, as always, for our partnership as we navigate these times together and prepare for a brighter future.
The increase in complexity can be mitigated in part by skilled people (skilling people up) but this requires people to skill up. The lack of people to skill up can be made easier by making the products easier to integrate and automate whilst still remaining intuitive. Secure X really looks like the platform to bring the security potfolio together under one Umbrella (no pun intended).
