The Hottest Topics at Cisco Live 2019: 5G, Automation and Security

July 10, 2019 - 0 Comments

This year marked the 30th anniversary of Cisco Live US, bringing together over 30 000 customers and partners, with Cisco leaders discussing the future of technology.

The hottest topic with our SP customers continues to be 5G.

Re-architecting the network to begin delivering

5G services is top of mind.

Nitin Bhasin and I presented how SPs can work with Enterprises on the new and ground-breaking innovation enabled by 5G. Together, SPs will find new revenue streams while Enterprises can spur innovation in not only new capabilities, but new businesses. Our 5G use cases in Mining, Healthcare and Manufacturing led to many follow-on conversations.

With the rapidly changing transformation landscape, our SP customers expect Cisco Customer Experience (CX) to assist them in accelerating the adoption, deployment and skills training of their new technology investments. This is why CX is evolving. Responding to customer expectations and working across the business with Enterprise, SP and innovation technology teams to ensure 5G business use cases and holistic solutions are delivered to the market.

If you’re looking for ideas when considering your move to 5G, you may be interested in our 5 steps to 5G white paper. It’s based on experiences and observations we’ve had while implementing and testing a number of use cases globally.

Also of interest, was the impact of IOT

and multi-cloud connectivity. Automation and AI ops,

with Security everywhere also high on all agendas.

Our new Cybersecurity Industry Report goes in-depth into the latest risks and impacts of security issues that every one of our customers face and addresses what can be done to mitigate those risks.

As Chuck Robbins said, ‘The world is full of opportunities because of the promise of technology, and you make this possible. You turn the impossible into possible.’ And Cisco Customer Experience is focused on your success, as together, we deliver the most innovative solutions that unleash the full potential of our digital world.

Look forward to seeing you again next year!
