Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 was a tremendous success. It was a very productive event, and the Cisco Services team and I enjoyed very positive interactions with many of our customers, partners, and colleagues from around the globe. What struck the team at MWC, was how our strategy is aligned to what customers came to see and to what they told us.

This year marked a first for our Cisco Services organization: it was the first year we had a standalone Cisco Services pod within the Cisco booth, showing that Cisco Services is more important to our company and our customers than ever before. We enjoyed demonstrating how we can help Service Providers accelerate success by auto-deploying 5G services in a matter of minutes, and received great feedback from many different customers and colleagues.

The announcement and demonstration of Cisco 5G Now! was indeed one of the show’s highlights and resonated extremely well with our customers. This was also the case for Cisco Crosswork Network Automation and its ability to help Service Providers transform leveraging network slicing and the power of edge computing.

In addition to reflecting on how Cisco can help the movement of “creating a better future,” other highlights include a(n):

It was an incredible week, and the team returned home excited about the future of Service Providers, and how the Cisco Services team can help them accelerate their success, confident that our strategy and portfolio are completely in synch with our customers’ goals and priorities.

Below are some pictures from the event. We hope to see you at the next one – enjoy!
