It was a busy week last week at Mobile World Congress 2018. We had great conversations with attendees about accelerating their success, met with the MWC team for an exec interview, and ate lots of local food. After this valuable opportunity to network and learn, our Cisco Services team is back home.
Reflecting on the past week’s events, several key trends jump out. Although 5G took center stage and much focus was placed on the sleek new device announcements, there was a larger message to be seen. True to this year’s #MWC18 “Creating a Better Future”, the theme of connected communities with mobile and IoT enhancing our lives was pervasive – hence putting pressure on Service Providers to adapt with enhanced technologies and approaches to deliver the required bandwidth explosion. For Service Providers, this means they must adapt and move more intelligence at the edge, with more automated, intelligent and simplified networks that enable what is no longer the future, but today’s reality.
Cisco is aligned to this goal and has developed key solutions for Service Providers to successfully complete their transformation journey. In partnership with our Service Provider partners, our Cisco Services team aligns to the journey to simplify, accelerate and de-risk these solutions so we reach this better tomorrow even sooner. Think of us as an extension of the team – a group of experts who work alongside or behind the scenes to simplify, automate and secure the intelligent networks so our customers can hit their goals faster, and ultimately leave their mark on the world.
Whatever the definition of a “better future” is, we’re up for the task. Cisco experts have helped respond to natural disasters, save the rhinos, create smart cities, and more. We are committed to being at the forefront of creating a better tomorrow, and were just named the #1 Most Sustainable Company by Barron.
We depend on Service Providers to define and create a better future. Let’s get there faster, together.
Cisco Services. Accelerate.
