Melissa is currently a CSE (Customer Success Executive) at Cisco supporting AT&T. As the CSE, Melissa aligns AT&T business objectives with Cisco technologies and services. She creates tangible results while driving new revenue opportunities for the Cisco Sales and Services teams. Melissa’s ability to lead the customer through the adoption lifecycle results in increased wallet share to Cisco while achieving AT&T’s stated goals and business objectives. Melissa has over 20 years of experience in sales and business development. Joining Cisco 13 years ago as a vendor, she accepted a full-time role in 2014. Over the past six years, she has held positions within Global Virtual Sales and Engineering, Strategy & Planning, and most recently CX. She has been recognized as a thought leader who demonstrates strong business acumen and sports an impressive record of measurable accomplishments utilizing a hands-on approach that focuses on strategic planning & tactical execution - while consistently over-achieving her sales quota. A native New Yorker (currently living in Atlanta), Melissa holds a bachelor’s degree from Oswego State University. As a cancer survivor, she thoroughly enjoys participating in The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night, and is a regular donor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Melissa is dedicated to community service and is the Co-Founder of ASCEND - a program developed to prepare college students for their journey from the college world to corporate life. Melissa is also passionate about writing – and is currently working on publishing her second book due out September 2020. When she is not writing, giving back, cooking, taking road trips, and mentoring, she enjoys spending time with the love of her life, her daughter Qianna.
