Bill Hentschell has been with Cisco over 20 years now. He has held various leadership roles, is involved Cisco’s M&A activity, and is a strategic advisor to several ISV partners. Leveraging his background in programming, operating systems, and networking he has been a frequent speaker at many industry events including RSA, Cisco’s Global Sales Experience, Cisco Live (Americas, LATAM, EMEAR, and APJC), Enterprise Connect, and a featured speaker for The Department of Homeland Security.
Bill currently serves as the Global Director of Intent Based Networking for the Global Partner Organization at Cisco Systems, Inc. Mr. Hentschell is responsible for driving global GTM strategy for Intent Based Networking across all RTMs including distribution, resale, and managed services. He is focused on partners profitability and Cisco brand preference through enablement, programs, incentives, offers, launches, acquisitions, and thought leadership.
Mr. Hentschell attained his MBA and piloted the first Cisco MBA cohort with University of Phoenix. Additionally, he has degree in Management and Leadership from the MIT Sloan School of Business and his B.S. in Criminology and Criminal Law from the University of Missouri. Currently he lives in St. Louis Missouri with two young children and spends his free time as an amateur photographer and beginner hockey player.
