He is responsible for driving Cisco's technology strategy across global partnerships, facilitating partner technology innovation and co-development, and enabling Cisco's global partner engineering community. Alex's deep technical knowledge and common-sense approach provide a unique perspective on technology innovation, linking industry trends to the partner and customer needs that matter most. He prioritizes listening, learning, and collaboration to engage with innovators, partners, customers, and industry influencers worldwide to showcase how Cisco innovation can unlock what is possible. A millennial and futurist, Alex's passions are centered firmly on guiding others to navigate the ever-changing digital landscape successfully. He is a senior member of the IEEE and ACM and is a passionate open-source software developer and advocate. In addition to his professional work, Alex is a regular speaker at industry and academic events and holds his Ph.D. in computer science.
