New Ways to Connect Workspaces

November 13, 2018 - 2 Comments

New opportunities for an already big business.

We’re bringing new solutions to Cisco Collaboration that help teams move to the future of work.

Last fiscal year, Cisco partners helped drive $5.1B in revenue for Cisco Collaboration with 93 percent of sales going through the channel. And, our year over year growth of more than 5 percent was impressive. More partners are leading and growing with Collaboration Flex Plan. Let’s keep the momentum with the latest news.

Every conversation is easier with Cloud Calling.

Since we brought BroadSoft to our Cisco team, we’ve been able to do more when it comes to the cloud. And that includes Cloud Calling. Cisco is introducing enhancements to the Flex Plan which include new Cloud Calling options for Service Providers.

This is the first step in our Cloud Calling journey. Cisco is positioned to take the Unifed Communications as a Service (UCaaS) market with our Service Providers and Value-Added Resellers as our primary route to market. Together we will lead this opportunity ahead of us.

There’s more room to collaborate with new huddle room solutions.

With more small teams, informal meetings, and employees working from home, “huddling” is becoming the new, agile way of working. Our huddle room solutions – which include Webex Share, Webex Room Kit Mini and Webex Board 55 — bring big boardroom tech to small spaces. Our new Room Kit Mini is specially designed for communications in small spaces, with video that adapts to the room, so everyone can be seen on screen. And with the smaller space fit comes a smaller price, too. Our advanced analytics provide dynamic views to room utilization with the ability to count people and easy management capabilities offer meeting and performance diagnostics.

“In Dimension Data’s latest technology trends predictions, we are excited by the potential of ‘huddle spaces’ to improve employee collaboration and creative thinking while allowing tasks to be completed more rapidly. These huddle rooms are often used by groups who want a flexible workspace that doesn’t require scheduling to collaborate on projects. Cisco’s Room Kit Mini is well-aligned with this modern collaboration trend as they provide ease of use, ease of deployment and ease of management, at a price point that is attractive to organizations of all sizes. Dimension Data is excited to partner with Cisco to bring the Room Kit Mini to our clients.”  Mitchell Hershkowitz, GTM Executive, Digital Workplace, Dimension Data

If co-creation is the primary focus of your huddle teams, point them to our Webex Board 55, recently enhanced with even more powerful whiteboarding features. And if you’re looking for an easy way for your teams to share content locally, Webex Share is the perfect solution. It plugs into the back of the screen and wireless contact sharing is at your fingertips . Cisco’s new huddle space solutions will make for easy collaboration, no matter where or how your customers collaborate.

Sell secure solutions for IT and corporate real estate that are not only cost-effective but provides the scale and insights to ensure end-user satisfaction. Cisco huddle space devices are easy to deploy and manage at scale for thousands of spaces. And require fewer vendors and fewer management points, a win-win for you and your customers.

Announcing our new Webex Board 85.

We are extending the Webex Board series with our new Webex Board 85. This device allows your customers to co-create in the largest spaces, including large board rooms, training and education spaces. Yes, it’s a very large device – the largest of any of our collaboration products — but we’ve come up with an ingenious transport and assembly frame that takes the hassle out of moving this huge device. It has wheels on thee corners to stand upright and fit in a standard elevator.

Our latest innovations deliver meaningful experiences for your customers so we can continue to lead the collaboration market together. Read more about our collaboration portfolio from our amazing leader, Amy Chang.
