After watching Partner Summit 2021 this past week, I am still amazed at the metrics we shared. We have all reaped the success of our combined efforts and we know it’s your passion, commitment, and resolve to help technology advance forward to as many people as possible.
I’d like to relay some numbers that were shared that speak directly to some of our top priorities for FY22.
- 48% of the SaaS market in 2020 was made up of SMBs — doubling the SaaS market size from 2014 to 2020.
- 45% of partners expect to generate revenue from sustainability solutions.
- 48.6% of Small Businesses are saying Digital Transformation is a top priority.
Even with the pandemic altering all our plans in 2020, you, Cisco Distributors, have been able to drive significant growth in FY21. And, it’s only been one quarter. As we work toward a greater cloud-first approach, this innovation will continue to drive greater opportunities in the Security, Collaboration, and SASE sphere. However, our on-prem enterprise agreements and marketplaces are also a large opportunity we want to ensure you continue to drive with your partners.
We are just as invested in making our world, our home, a better place. Over the past several years we have been making the shift away from a linear economy to a circular economy. Chuck Robbins, Cisco Chair and Chief Executive Officer, shared our commitment to reaching net zero across all scopes of emission by 2040 and net zero in all global Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2025.
