The market shift toward as-a-Service (aaS) and managed services is creating several new opportunities for Cisco and our partners.   With success via Cisco’s channel and our recently launched agent route to market, we are excited to announce that we are expanding our agent model.  As Marc Surplus, Vice President of Partner Strategy and Programs explained in his blog, this route to market creates more opportunities for partners to sell solutions where and how customers prefer.

The agent model offers an easy way for Cisco partners and customers to connect and work together.  It provides a fast way to transact with Cisco through a simplified ordering process.

Cisco launched the agent model in June 2021 with our first technology services broker, Intelisys. We are now expanding our presence further with the signing of our newest technology services broker – Telarus, one of the leading technology service brokers in the United States, who contracts with thousands of agents.  We are excited to join forces with them.  With Telarus’ focus on partner and customer success, we believe they are the right partner to help us accelerate our expansion in this critically important route to market.

Our technology services brokers are authorized to offer Cisco’s market-leading cloud collaboration platform, Webex, to US based clients. The Webex platform includes an all-in-one collaboration suite for calling, meetings, messaging and select devices through a simple, easy-to-sell, easy-to-use experience. The Webex Suite enables agents to provide any customer with an enterprise-grade collaboration tool set with end-to-end encryption, AI-driven intelligence, frictionless deployment, and more. In the age of the inclusive hybrid workplace, we believe it’s important to get these features into as many hands as possible.

Both Cisco reseller partners and our technology services broker partners are eligible to participate in the agent model.
