Cisco’s investments, such as Voicea, and innovations around Cognitive Collaboration and Unified Work Experiences are creating new value-added services for partners and beginning to capture attention from industry peers and analysts.

Last week Cisco announced its intent to acquire Voicea, a privately-held company that provides real-time meeting transcripts, voice search and highlights. Transcription services is table stakes for Meetings, Voicea features enable us to leapfrog basic transcription and enhance the power of the Webex Platform. This add-on feature will help to create a value-added service for Partners and arm them to capitalize on workplace transformation.

This week, we were thrilled to learn that Cisco Collaboration captured the overall win in the 2019 CRN Annual Report Card survey. In addition to the capturing the overall award, Cisco also swept the subcategories of:

  • Product Innovation
  • Support
  • Partnership
  • Managed & Cloud Services

The CRN award comes on the heels of Gartner recognizing Cisco as a Leader in the 2019 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Unified Communications as a Service, Worldwide. We believe the strength and quality of our partner community and the completeness of our Webex suite helped to secure this recognition.

They say momentum begets momentum and we want our partners to ride the wave with us.

We know that your customers rely on you, our partners, to provide the best possible solutions and that you count on us to help you provide them. This recognition from CRN and the Gartner report tells us that we are headed in the right direction by providing our customers and partners with valuable solutions.
