For the last two years, we’ve been pushing incredibly hard to build on a foundation that reflects decades of innovation by our companies. Today the combination of Cisco and Splunk is delivering what customers need at just the right time.

As I reflect on what we announced at Cisco Live last week, I am so proud of what we’ve accomplished for customers:

  • Cisco is the critical infrastructure for the AI era.
  • Splunk is the intelligence layer for agentic ops – built on a cross-domain data strategy that delivers trusted AI.

A new operating model

We have combined infrastructure, data and trust in an AI native solution designed to help customers succeed in the AI era. And it all comes together under Cisco Cloud Control – a new operating model that’s a real game-changer

Customers have been asking what Cisco and Splunk would do together. Last week we showed them what’s possible:

  • We can manage data at ludicrous scale and leverage the power of AI to correlate insights.
  • We can work at machine speed, leveraging AI that delivers verifiable trusted results and allows humans to have delegated control to autonomous solutions such as our Agentic SRE and Agentic SOC.
  • We can enable trust in AI through end-to-end visibility across the agent lifecycle powered by Splunk Agentic Observability.

Tangible outcomes for customers

Customers are already realizing the benefits of the Cisco Data Fabric powered by Splunk.

Autodesk is using federated search to send high-value data to Splunk Federated Search for real-time analysis and storing less critical logs in a data lake, reducing ingest costs by 28%. This optimized data management strategy is helping Autodesk reduce MTTR to under 30 minutes.

FINRA relies on Splunk to ingest data from 170 applications, gain cost and operational efficiencies, and protect investors from fraud.

REPAY uses Splunk Observability Cloud and the product’s AI Assistant to gain complete visibility into its system health, cut incident triage time by 50%, and reduce transaction latency by 30%.

With last week’s announcements, we are delivering more features, more ways to work with data and more opportunities to leverage AI.

It’s time to lean in to AI

The AI era is here. Splunk and Cisco have worked tirelessly to help customers not only adapt but get ahead. Customers can confidently lean into AI, leverage all their data, and stay one step ahead of the perpetual disruption that is our new normal.

What is most exciting is this is just the beginning of the innovation, new features and solutions our customers can expect. In just a few months, we will showcase the very latest at .conf26, Splunk’s annual conference for users and developers.

Register now to experience it for yourself in Denver, CO, September 14-27, 2026.
