So. Many. New. Things.

Since our major announcements at Cisco Live EMEA in Amsterdam back in February, we have delivered a massive expansion to our portfolio, from the AI Practitioner program (AIBIZ/AITECH) and AI Infrastructure Specialist certification to a relaunch of our Wireless and Collaboration portfolios and a complete refresh of our CCNP Security pathway. Whew. It was an incredible payload of innovation and evolution.

We are carrying that momentum into Cisco Live 2026 in Las Vegas (starting May 31). Consider this your guide to the announcements, certifications, and training opportunities we are bringing to the event.

CCNA, CCIE + AI, new tutorials

Following our May 20 portfolio announcements, we’re focused on ensuring our portfolio remains the industry standard for job-ready skills. This includes our refreshed CCNA blueprint, the integration of AI tools into the CCIE Practical exam, and our new “Human Skills” tutorials on Cisco U.

As a special part of the CCNA v2.0 announcement, we are also providing early access to our updated official training on Cisco U.— now with embedded scenarios to build practical skills. More good news: this preview is no cost, and the associated skills support the existing CCNA v1.1 exam as well as the new CCNA 2.0 exam, going live in February 2027.

At Cisco Live, we’ll have experts on the floor and leading sessions with deep dives into those announcements. If you have questions, we’ll have the answers. Just head to the Learn with Cisco area of the World of Solutions.

Additional certification updates

Launching March 23, 2027, the CCIE Automation v1.2 exam elevates expertise in AI-driven operations, modern DevOps, and cloud-native workflows. This update empowers you as the “human-in-the-lead,” driving efficiency in an AI-first infrastructure in an increasingly automated network landscape.

We are also continuing to update the CCNP Security pathway with new blueprints for Securing Networks with Cisco Firewalls (300-710 SNCF v1.2) and Implementing and Configuring Cisco Identity Services Engine (300-715 SISE v1.2). You can find full details on those changes—and all certification changes—on the Cisco Certification Roadmap page.

Special promotion: Build security + design skills
With news of AI-driven threats and efforts like Project Glasswing, the importance of security skills has only increased. We’ve also been told loud and clear how important design skills are to Cisco Customers, Partners, and organizations around the globe. To support a security-first design philosophy and associated skills, we’re making the Designing Cisco Security Infrastructure | SDSI Learning Path available on Cisco U. at no cost for 45 days starting May 31.

This course, which also earns 41 Continuing Education Credits, helps build skills to design, automate, secure, and operate modern infrastructure using software-defined networking, security, observability, and policy-driven operations across hybrid environments. The connected exam earns a Cisco Security Design Specialist Certification, which can contribute toward your CCNP Security Certification.

Designing with energy in mind

Aligned with design skills and new demands for “systems-level thinking,” Learn with Cisco is offering free Energy Networking Systems training (developed with Panduit) to help build skills on how to design, install, and manage Class 4 Fault Managed Power systems. What’s more: Learners can also earn a Credly badge. These skills are increasingly vital for smart building deployments and efficient power management.
