Cisco DevNet is your hub for building the next generation of intelligent infrastructure with agentic AI. Discover how AI agents can call Cisco APIs, reason over network data, and take action on their own, with hands-on guides to Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, agent frameworks, and the SDKs that connect them to real Cisco platforms.
Go beyond scripts and playbooks with AI-driven network automation that can detect issues, recommend fixes, and run multi-step workflows across your environment. Learn how to apply shift left security to agentic systems, from guarding AI-generated code to setting guardrails on what autonomous agents are allowed to do. You’ll also find patterns, sample code, and best practices for enterprise application development where AI agents work alongside your teams.
Explore the latest from the Cisco DevNet community below, and join a global network of developers turning AI ideas into working code.
Cisco DevNet invites developers to explore technologies for developing and deploying modern apps in a hybrid world and get hands-on with learning labs and running code against live infrastructure.
I am very encouraged by what I am seeing lately coming from our partners: the creativity and innovation reflected in many of the examples of apps, bots, and integrations!
Over the last few months I've been writing posts about a simplified manner in which we can automate solutions on UCS called KUBAM. Everything we've done...
Welcome, welcome, welcome! Here is the first episode of Kareem and Matt’s Code Party where the idea is to video what we usually do, which is sit around, have a beverage, and talk tech (I know…super nerdy right?). This will be a series so
These days when someone comes and asks me about how great a use case they have for a blockchain, my answer has started to be somewhat predictable… "So, you wanna use a blockchain, huh?”
Hey, you networkers out there. (Yes, it’s a little weird – I’m talking to networkers in a blog post at a site where a lot of Developers hang out.) Remember the short struggle when you first learned about Cisco devices? What cable to use to
#CiscoLiveLA: a marathon of knowledge transfer, training sessions and fun activities!
I was lucky enough to hit Stockholm for the NordicAPI Platform Summit at the beginning of last week. It’s one of only a few all-API focused events held internationally, so given a (probably unhealthy) chunk of my life has been about APIs and all that
As networks become programmable and applications become the central vehicle transforming literally all aspects of our work and lives, Cisco will continue to deliver quality education, training, and support for our rapidly growing developer community.
