Cloud Calling Technology Group

Scott Hoffpauir, Vice President Cloud Calling Technology Group, is responsible for all of Cisco’s cloud calling products and solutions, including product strategy, product management, development, cloud operations and partner support. He is responsible for guiding the technical vision and direction for BroadSoft, as well as promoting continuous product innovation.

He joined Cisco in February 2018 through the acquisition of BroadSoft, where he was Founder and Chief Technology Officer of BroadSoft. Over the course of 20 years at BroadSoft, he ran product strategy, product management, development, cloud operations, support and customer success for BroadSoft’s flagship products – BroadWorks and BroadCloud.

Prior to co-founding BroadSoft, Scott was Director of GSM Development at CelCore (DSC/Alcatel USA). IN this role, he was responsible for all product development on the GSM switching product.

Before Celcore, Scott was Senior Architect for Nortel’s GSM and Inter-Exchange Carrier switching systems. He also has multiple patents in the GSM, SIP, call processing and switching areas.

Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Louisiana Lafayette.
