Megan DePorter Zeishner

Community Relations Program Manager

Megan is the Community Relations Program Manager for Cisco’s Research Triangle Park, North Carolina campus. Megan has been with Cisco since 2011, and in that time has focused on investing Cisco’s greatest assets -- people and products -- into the community. Megan has led local cash and product grant programs, the annual Global Hunger Relief Campaign and Community Relations social media channels. Megan’s primary focus is to drive local engagement and development of US2020, a national initiative that seeks to connect 1 million STEM professionals to volunteer mentoring and demonstrate the relevance of science and technology careers to the next generation.

Megan earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus in sports management from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Megan currently serves on the US2020 RTP Guiding Coalition and the RTP Community Outreach Committee. Before joining Cisco, Megan worked for the Walt Disney Company’s ESPN Radio and Radio Disney.
