Jai Prakash (JP) Shukla

Jai Prakash (JP) leads product management in the Networking Experiences Team with direct responsibility for SD-WAN, CloudOps and Software-Defined Routing portfolio. In this role, he is globally responsible for product strategy and business growth. A highly respected industry veteran, with over 30 years of networking experience, JP has extensive knowledge of the networking and information technology industry and a promoter of software-defined strategy. After joining Cisco in 2000 as an engineer working on the Catalyst 6000 product, JP led product management of Nexus switching products at Cisco where he was responsible for Nexus software for Nexus 2000/5000/6000 routers and technologies like Fabric Path and Dynamic Fabric Automation. Prior to his current role and second tenure at Cisco, JP led Product Management and Technical Marketing at Big Switch Networks with responsibility for Big Cloud Fabric and Multi-Cloud Director since 2013. JP holds an engineering degree in electronics & telecommunications, and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
