Jake Katz currently serves as the Vice President of Product Management for AI Infrastructure Strategy with the Cisco Networking Group. In this role, Jake has successfully launched a new full-stack AI solution Cisco Nexus HyperFabric AI in collaboration with NVIDIA and VAST. In addition to developing strong tech partnership solutions, he is fully dedicated to solving the most significant AI challenges faced by enterprise data centers, hyperscalers, and service provider customers helping them realize its full business potential. Jake is no stranger to Cisco. He previously worked with the company from 2000 to 2007, joining through Growth Networks. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in the HFR/CRS-1, 7600, and 7500 programs. Following his time at Cisco, Jake spent several years at Juniper Networks, where he held the position of Vice President of Product Management for Routing products. He successfully led teams responsible for the MX and PTX product lines. Most recently, Jake was at Meta, where he led a team of product managers supporting network hardware, software, and data center architectures. His team was primarily focused on developing multiple AI networks. His first program at Meta was their current production network architecture, F16. Jake holds a BSEE from Stanford University and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
