Edward Westenberg

Edward Westenberg is a director in the Retail and Consumer Packaged Goods vertical of the Cisco Internet Business Solutions Group (IBSG). IBSG works with many of the world's leading companies to help them use technology to accelerate transformation

within their industries.

Edward has more than 20 years of experience in designing and delivering innovative business solutions to retailers across Europe and North America. He has firsthand experience in translating technological advancements into business opportunities for retailers. Prior to joining Cisco, Edward was a retail leader in Capgemini’s Global Sector for Manufacturing Retail and Distribution. From 2001 to 2005 he worked for Capgemini Canada, where he gained experience on the North American market, leading various retail and RFID initiatives and client engagements.

Edward started his career at Albert Heijn in 1989, where he worked on a variety of leading edge distribution projects. He earned his undergraduate degree and a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences from the Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands
