Clarence Barboza is the Senior Director of the Digital Impact Office for the Asia Pacific, Japan, and China (APJC) region at Cisco. In this role, he leverages technology to help countries increase their GDP and develop sustainable innovation ecosystems. The Digital Impact Office's programs, including Cisco Networking Academy, Country Digital Acceleration, and Learning & Certifications, collectively drive real-world impact. These initiatives go beyond mere statements of intent, providing live evidence of Cisco's role in creating an inclusive future for all. Throughout his tenure at Cisco, Clarence has held several key positions, including Director for Cisco’s Public Sector business in APJC, where he was responsible for sales and business development efforts across Government, Education, Health, Transport, and Utilities sectors. He also played a pivotal role in integrating the Linksys Small Business sales team into Cisco APJ, creating the APJ Small Business (SMB) Sales team, and developing distribution and channel partner programs to drive business growth. Before joining Cisco, Clarence held a leadership role at Dell, where he led the home and small and medium business segments across India and South Asia. He was the Regional Marketing leader for Dell’s Small and Medium Business segment in these regions. Clarence holds an MBA from Loyola University, Chicago, and currently resides in Singapore with his wife and two young children.
