Michael Leonard is focused on application delivery technologies with a special interest in managed WAN optimization services and has been driving adoption with Service Providers worldwide having traveled to China, India, Japan and South Africa to present the opportunity with Cisco WAAS.
Michael has been in technology marketing since 1997 and was previously at Juniper Networks where he also focused on application delivery technologies. Earlier he was at Redback Networks working on broadband aggregation and at Lucent Technologies marketing remote access technologies in both cases to Service Providers worldwide.
Earlier in his career Michael was an IT manager focusing on systems and network administration going back to the mid-80’s and was an early implementer of sales management systems, computer telephone integration and remote access technologies.
Michael has a BS in Economics from the University of Utah.
