It’s August, as we leap into Cisco’s new fiscal year 2022, it’s the perfect time to thank you for our great joint success over the past 12 months and to share our security priorities and profitability programs so that you can support your customers and drive success in security.

The security market represents a huge opportunity for you as a partner and is predicted to rise towards $200B globally. Within Cisco we have seen continued growth in our security business with a total 7% growth year over year.  And in industry transitions like SASE, the opportunity is expected to be approximately $11B by 2024, according to Gartner.  Our security partners are vital to our success, so we need you by our side now more than ever to capture key market opportunities and invest in these security growth areas:

Be Platform Focused

Our platform approach to security is at the heart of all we do.  With SecureX customers can simplify their security through integration and automation to drive increased efficiency and visibility. SecureX includes XDR capabilities and beyond with every Cisco Secure product.  In fact, in the recent Forrester Total Economic Impact Study, it was found that SecureX can decrease the risk and cost of a data breach by 45% to 50%. We are consistently innovating in this area adding enhance integrations within the Cisco Secure portfolio and with 3rd party vendors.  As a partner you can also earn additional rewards by activating customers on SecureX with our SecureX Lifecycle Activation Incentive.

Be Fast in SaaS

The transition to SaaS is continuing to accelerate with the ongoing adoption of a hybrid work model and multi-cloud environments.  Our SaaS delivered security solutions allow you to offer your customers flexible, cloud-based options to meet their security needs now and in the future.  If you have a customer looking to adopt a Zero Trust or SASE approach, then solutions like Secure Access by Duo, Cisco Umbrella, or Secure Endpoint give you the option to have those conversations with your customer.  You can take advantage of offers like our Duo “One Year on Us” or SASE Bundle Offer to maximize your profitability

Be First in Core

We are continuing to see excellent growth in our Network Security business, and it will continue to be a major focus area for us throughout the year.  Hopefully, you were able to tune into our Reimagine Network Security – Cisco Secure Partner Insights Forum back in June.  We discussed in-depth the new innovations with our Secure Firewall 7.0 release and how these updates simplify security and help customers gain visibility across multi-cloud and hybrid networks. As a partner the opportunity is huge (approximately $4.4B) to refresh your existing firewall install base and you can use our Partner Firestrater team help deliver a seamless migration experience.  You can also take advantage of compelling up-front discounts when you register your firewall migration or competitive displacement deal via security deal registration.  Stay tuned as we have another event coming up in October to help you capitalize on this opportunity.
