Long before there was paper to record civilizations’ history, people have sought out ways to fuel the world around them to survive. This fiscal year, one of my key priorities is bringing you closer to the innerworkings of Cisco. I want to help you ignite your business opportunities by sharing with you the latest announcements, product launches, and marketing support when you need it the most. Aaron Goldman said, “Communicate unto the other person that which you would want him to communicate unto you if your positions were reversed.” Cisco relies on your expertise, and I hope our increased collaboration and partnerships will help you sell more and win greater opportunities in FY21.

One way that I’m hoping to bring you the latest updates is through the Distribution News Hub. The sales and marketing content aggregator is designed to deliver all the announcements, product updates and launches, and marketing support to you on one platform. Where you might’ve gone to SalesConnect to get launch information or the online Distribution Central experience to get a high-level understanding of Cisco’s expansive product portfolio, this hub brings the latest updates to you.
In addition to the hub being a one-stop shop for the most up-to-date content, it also has a few key features I want to share with you:
- Filtering – This feature allows you to get the information that’s most applicable to your interests whether it’s small business, marketing, or portfolio and solutions.
- Automation – Using an AI engine, the platform delivers a customized experience for every user each time the hub is accessed.
- Curation – The content on the hub is being actively curated and is refreshed with new content almost daily and old, inactive content is pulled down.
Open Communication through Digital Interfaces
Starting a blog is new territory for me, but one I hope to use as an open forum for us to engage.
