I think this is a great way for Cisco to help support those that want to learn more about their products and pursue certifications. Having technical education resources available is also a great way to refresh knowledge and assist in troubleshooting issues.

Can we get a “Cisco Certification & Training on a Page” quick reference sheet or similar supplied. Honestly this needs to be better explained please.
We appreciate changes for the better however it gets confusing to know what options are available and of those what is the best option to take … and now we have Cisco U added to this mix of options. By way of example can it be simply explained how a CCNP or CCIE Certification can be best renewed with the explanation of options available…. this is just one of many situational training or certification challenges that need to be clearly and simply answered

The Best learning platform.
It seems like there isn’t a good description of what this actually is without lots of marketing speak that confuses things more than it clarifies. Great, there are “Learning Paths” and multivendor content but what content? Apparently Skillsoft, but do I have access to all of Cisco’s paid training content with the All-Access? It doesn’t actual say, just “Cisco product Learning Paths” and the like. At least Juniper makes it clear with their “Juniper All-Access Training Pass.”

Easy to use and better
It sounds like all bases are covered – both general learning as well as “moment of need” training. We certainly have need for both in my environment. A clear path to CE credits makes it very appealing to those of us who have expiring certifications, but can’t jump into a training program for the next level certification at the moment.

I was able to login and to explore Cisco U.
I have been member of this site for a while. Most new candidates announce there intentions, where they work and ambitions.
I guess if you read their profile it becomes a small world of similar interests.
There are also questions and answers on Cisco systems and also a contributionary section on your own Q&A.
There also it recommendations and papers and videos of free help in training and a status of contribution to add to your CV as a blogger.

Sounds great but my company has recently purchased a subscription through a distributor (L-DL-AA-TKLCPLL-D= Cisco Digital Learning All Inclusive) which was supplied without details of how to activate. Almost a month later and after numerous emails to learning-bdm@cisco.com we still cannot use it.
I have almost given up on getting access to the product we have paid for and will soon be requesting a refund and will have to look for third party training content to study for exams necessary for partner certifications.
If anyone senior in the Cisco Learning team reads this please can you check with learning-bdm@cisco.com and get this issue resolved please.

I need to train myself on switches routers firewalls core equipment, ISE and wan OSPF as well as umbrella web filtering and end point protection and BGP external routing
I am so excited to be to this platform, however, some of courses are protected by a lock on Cisco U.
