While I miss seeing you all in person, a virtual DevNet Create is the next best thing. This year, I have the honor of co-hosting the “Start Now” channel along with Kanwal Komail and DuAn Lightfoot. The Start Now channel at DevNet Create 2021 is full of great information for developers at any skill level. You can check out the complete list of Start Now channel sessions to find the ones you want to join.

Of course, we’ll spend some time to focus on DevNet topics. You will see what is new in the DevNet sandboxes. Also, for those of you who have completed your DevNet certification, or if you are considering it, you can find out what you can do with your cert. However, there is a lot more going on than just DevNet!

Tons of content for developers of all levels

Automation is a huge part of how developers can thrive in a networking world. We’ll show you how can get automation code through Code Exchange. Also, you can see how to automate your network through web GUI, and how automation can help you in deploying Meraki platforms.

You’ll also hear about coding best practices around Python as well as how to use containers. You can find out about the pitfalls of implementing Infrastructure as Code. There will be lots of good pointers for you active developers!

As Bill Gates famously said, “content is king.” Content is an important part of the developer environment as well. At DevNet Create, you’ll hear about the importance of API docs as well as Documentation as Code.

Community is also a crucial part of the developer experience. We’ll have talks on eliminating bias and building inclusion in our online communities, as well as how technology champions can work with the community to address security vulnerabilities.

Please check out the full agenda of sessions coming to the DevNet Create Start Now Channel.

One Day Only!

All of this exciting stuff will only be available on the first day of DevNet Create, so please register now and join us on that day! You’ll still be able to tune into the other channels and also enjoy the second day, all for free. This conference is a global virtual event, so you will be able to join sessions in a time zone that works for you!
