If you missed our latest NetGru livestream, here’s your opportunity to catch up. Episode 76 of NetGru: Month of Networking is available to watch on demand—and it’s packed with insights for anyone using Cisco platforms with Splunk.

Led by Technical Marketing Engineer Taylor Cook, the session walked through how the Cisco Enterprise Networking app for Splunk unifies network and security analytics across Catalyst Center, Identity Services Engine (ISE), SD-WAN, and Cyber Vision. It’s the same material Taylor presented last week at Splunk .conf in Boston, now available on demand.

New episodes stream every Wednesday on the Cisco DevNet YouTube channel.

Simplify Operations, Speed Up Insights

Taylor explained why Cisco created a single app after the Splunk acquisition: to simplify operations, break down silos, and help teams get more value from existing tools. The app brings together logs, telemetry, and context through unified dashboards and integrated APIs. This allows you to correlate user identity, network performance, and security events—all in one place.

In the demo, Taylor showed how a user’s Wi-Fi issue was diagnosed by following the signal path across ISE (authentication), Catalyst (access point health), SD-WAN (policy and tunnel performance), and finally the ISP. This real-time tracing shows how unified data can reduce MTTR and streamline troubleshooting efforts.
