We have also found that the IoT is a powerful tool to encourage digital transformation. My recent blog The Internet of Things – Collating all your Energy Consumption Data across the Internet and Presenting it Online talks about how the IoT is used to collate energy consumption information from multiple sites and multiple energy sources. This service is called dataview and helps businesses to make a transformation of their energy management activities.

It is important to think about how the common concerns of IT and OT are addressed in simple and cost-effective ways that deliver the business outcomes desired by the organization.
