As Vice President of The Americas for Government Affairs, Waldo McMillan leads a team of professionals who engage the White House, U.S. Congress, and lawmakers, regulators, and industry stakeholders across North and Latin America—advocating for the power of technology to drive economic activity, enable innovation, and bridge the digital divide. Prior to joining Cisco, Waldo was the Vice President of Legislative Affairs at Charter Communications and led the company's federal public policy efforts. He started his career in Congress, where he served as counsel to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV). Waldo received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Howard University and Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
