TelePresence Systems Business Unit

Tom currently leads the product management team focused on Immersive Group Systems in the TelePresence Systems Business Unit of Cisco Systems.  Tom joined Cisco in 2004 through the acquisition of Parc Technologies, a company he cofounded based on technology developed completing his PhD in Imperial College, London.
 
During his time at Cisco Tom has led product introductions in software and hardware to both Service Provider and Enterprise segments.  Many of these solutions have been built through a combination of in-house and 3rd party technologies requiring critical technical and business integrations.
 
He has been working in different aspects of video for the last 5 years from endpoints, to network management and network infrastructure.  For the last two years Tom has been involved in shaping and delivering the Immersive TelePresence products and roadmap driving the Immersive TelePresence experience to the next generation of endpoints.
