Todd A. Miller has been a Chief of Police for almost 37 years in 4 different states. He is currently the Director of Public Safety for the Mankato Minnesota Department of Public Safety where he heads the Police, Fire and Emergency Management Divisions of the city. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master's Degree in Management. Director Miller is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and the School of Police Staff and Command at Northwestern University. Director Miller is a cofounder and Past President of the Board of Directors of the Upper Midwest Community Policing Institute and is the current Chair of the Community Policing Committee of the International Association of Chiefs of Police. His agencies have won the IACP and Cisco Community Policing Award two times; White Bear Lake, MN in 1999, and Mankato, MN in 2013.
