Scott Allen
Cybersecurity Specialist
Federal Public Sector
After more than two decades in the U.S. Army — including 12 years supporting Special Operations and time stationed in Germany working alongside NATO partners — Scott transitioned into cybersecurity and strategic advisory roles supporting both government and commercial organizations. His career has included cybersecurity advisory work with Deloitte, support to the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, and now serving as a Cybersecurity Sales Specialist at Cisco, where he helps customers navigate the intersection of security, networking, resilience, and mission outcomes.
Known for translating technical complexity into practical human conversations, Scott focuses on helping leaders understand not just how technology works, but why it matters. Whether discussing Zero Trust, resilience, or the evolving role of AI in cybersecurity, his approach blends operational experience, strategy, and a healthy appreciation for the people behind the technology.
Frequent traveler, leadership speaker, fitness enthusiast, and firm believer that some of the best conversations happen over coffee after the meeting is over. When not talking security and networking, he’s usually exploring local restaurants while on the road, investing in community and faith, or finding ways to make highly technical topics a little more relatable.
