Ronaldo is the Scientific Director of Digital Pages and a member of the Brazilian Academy of Education. He also serves as a consultant, writer and lecturer in New Technologies and Innovative Methodologies in Education.

Ronaldo has taught and researched at universities around the world, and previously served as chancellor and executive director of Estácio Group, rector of Universidade Estácio de Sá.

He was also national Secretary of Innovation and Technological Development, national Secretary of Higher Education and Distance Learning, Interim Minister at the Brazilian Ministry of Education and Professorial visiting fellow at Institute of Education – University of London/UK.
