Rachel Barger is Senior Vice President of Cisco’s Global Enterprise Segment in the Americas: Cisco’s largest sales theater that engages with roughly 500 of the company’s top strategic clients, representing more than $8 billion in annual revenue. Rachel brings with her more than 20 years’ experience as a technology leader, with a known track record of delivering profitable growth, building high-performance teams and relentlessly driving forward innovative approaches, technology transformation and an inclusive culture for all. Rachel focuses on building strong customer and partner relationships with an emphasis on understanding the business impact behind the technology, change management and value realization. She also brings a global perspective through her experience leading teams across EMEA and Asia Pacific, delivering digital transformation and as-a-service outcomes. Before joining Cisco, Rachel held services, customer success and sales leadership positions across the technology sector. Most recently she was President and Managing Director for Southeast Asia at SAP, the world’s largest provider of enterprise application software. In this role she was responsible for one of SAP’s fastest growing markets representing over €500M of annual software revenue and more than 8,000 customers. Previous to that, she served at SAP as the Chief Operating Office for Asia Pacific and Japan, as well as Regional Vice President for SAP North America’s Southeast region market. Rachel has also held other leadership positions at Lithium and Ariba. Her ability to create a strong vision for customers while executing with precision has been the driving force to how she’s achieved results and led highly engaged teams to success. Rachel has done this across a breadth of customer industries, with special attention on manufacturing, digital supply chain/industry 4.0 and the future of work. Located in Atlanta, she holds an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management (UNSW) as well as a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware. Outside regular work hours, Rachel is proud to be a representative of Cisco’s Women in Technology group (ElevateHER), Women of Cisco’s Executive Sponsor for the Americas, a member of the Advisory Board for the Singapore Management University School of Computing and Information Systems and has also been active in recently representing the Digital Innovation and Transformation committee at the G20-Y Summit as Annual Chair in 2017 and 2018.
