Linda Tong is General Manager of AppDynamics. AppDynamics provides solutions for real-time application and business performance monitoring, empowering organizations to make mission-critical decisions that improve customer experiences and accelerate business in a multi-cloud world.
Linda joined AppDynamics in 2017 as Vice President of Innovation Labs & Product Experience. In this role, Linda’s focus on execution and design-led leadership drove the next phase of AppDynamics' product journey and empowered a company culture of curiosity and experimentation.
In 2019, Linda was promoted to Chief Product Officer where she focused on driving the company’s product vision and strategy. In her current role as General Manager, Linda leads all aspects of AppDynamics’ business as part of Cisco.
Prior to AppDynamics, Linda held positions at the NFL and Google, and was a founding member of Tapjoy and Nextbit. Combining her love of product and professional sports, Linda served as the Vice President of Product and Innovation at the NFL, managing the product vision for the owned and operated digital properties across all 32 clubs and the league. As COO at Nextbit Systems, Linda worked on a cloud OS and mobile phone, the Robin, whose design would become the basis for the Razer phone following its acquisition in 2017. As Tapjoy’s co-founder, Linda grew the organization to 250+ employees, hundreds of millions in revenue and, as Chief Product Officer, created the developer monetization and advertising value exchange as well as its direct-to-consumer product. At Google, Linda was one of the original Android team members, and helped launch and shape the developer ecosystem for the Android OS in its earliest stages.
Linda holds a B.S. degree from Yale University, and currently resides in Northern California.
