Jason leads Customer Experience (CX) for the 500 largest enterprise customers across the United States, including the global business for 50 of those accounts. Cisco CX includes services delivery, customer success, renewals, and P&L business management. Jason manages the delivery of professional and support services and ensures that the customer is receiving value from the services and products that they have purchased from Cisco.
Jason was based in Japan for 3 years, Singapore for 8 years, and London for 5 years. Most recently in Japan, he managed the CX business for all Japan market segments. Prior to that in Singapore, he managed the professional services business in Greater China and Service Provider customers in Asia Pacific, India, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand. Earlier, he managed Cisco’s advanced services practice for Asia and APJC global enterprise customers. Also, while based in APJC and EMEAR, he was a senior sales leader and one of the first members of the team that built and managed Cisco’s Mobile Service Provider business. This has grown into a multibillion-dollar line of business. Jason was previously Director of Sales for that business, managing global sales operations. Jason also built a new channel sales operation in EMEAR and held a US role in business unit product management.
Prior to joining Cisco, Jason worked for Sprint PCS to build and launch the US nationwide wireless network. Previously, he was VP Sales for a satellite technology start-up and he worked at CableLabs to develop the overall business case for the digitization of cable offerings.
Jason is passionate about managing cross-cultural teams and garnering innovation from a global community. He enjoys harnessing the power of a unified, cross-functional team and being a tireless change-agent. He values the discipline of managing a P&L business and is always active in the sales process, regardless of his organizational role.
Jason holds a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Mexico, a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado, an MBA from the University of Kansas, and an Executive JD law degree from Concord Law School. He lives in Colorado with his wife and twin daughters where he enjoys outdoor activities and exploring the local area.
