Global Service Provider (GSP) Sales - EMEAR

Jim is the leader for Cisco’s Service Provider business for the EMEAR region (Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Russia), which is one of the largest and most dynamic markets for Cisco. We support telecommunications, media, web and cloud providers to enhance productivity and further grow as they digitize the world. Jim is responsible for our strategy, organization, daily operation and results, and a member of our EMEAR leadership team.

Prior to this, Jim lead the Service Provider solutions sales team, working with global customers in the telecoms, media, cloud and managed services market based in the UK & Ireland, Northern Europe & RCIS. Jim’s team combines hardware and software sales with technology and services expertise to help customers transform their businesses by enabling them to drive new revenues and increase business agility, while reducing costs and mitigating the risks from cyber security threats as well as commercial, market challenges.

Previous to taking on this role in August 2015, Jim headed up the Architectures team for the Service Provider segment in EMEAR, responsible for business and solutions development in the areas of service provider core, edge, optical and mobile networks, software-defined networks (SDN), network virtualization (NFV), cloud and data centre platforms.

Before that Jim was Client Director for the Vodafone global account and leader of the Mobility business - a team of technology experts focused on developing Cisco’s vision and architecture for the Mobile industry in EMEAR, managing Cisco’s Mobility Solutions portfolio, and driving best practices for marketing, field enablement and support of complex sales opportunities in the region.
